One teaspoon in a big glass of water before breakfast. Mixes easily if you stir and drink straight away. Simple and it just works for me.
I add a spoonful to my post-run smoothie. It thickens it up nicely and keeps me full until lunch.
I read labels obsessively. One ingredient, no added sugar, nothing weird. That is all I wanted.
I wanted a fibre supplement without sweeteners or flavourings. This is exactly that — just psyllium. Stirred into orange juice it is barely noticeable.
Much finer than the husk I used before, so no gritty texture. The pouch reseals properly too, which matters more than you would think.
Looks great on the counter, which honestly helps me remember to take it. The powder itself is clean and mixes well.
Grew up with isabgol in my grandmother's kitchen. Nice to find a clean version here that I can trust for my own family.
Took about a week to get used to it — start small and drink plenty of water. Now it is just part of the routine.
Using a little in gluten-free bread dough to help it hold together. Works brilliantly.

Answers to the most common questions about psyllium husk, daily routines and shipping.
Psyllium husk comes from the seed coat of Plantago ovata, a plant grown widely in India, where it has been used for generations and is known as isabgol. It is a rich source of soluble fiber that absorbs water and forms a soft gel.
Start with 1 teaspoon (about 5 g) stirred into at least 8 oz (240 ml) of water, juice or a smoothie. Drink it straight away, before it thickens, then follow with another glass of water. You can build up gradually as directed on the pack.
Whenever it fits your routine — many people choose the morning or the evening. If you take any medication, take psyllium at least 2 hours before or after it, as fiber can affect how some medicines are absorbed.
Yes. It works well in smoothies, yogurt, overnight oats and baking, where it adds fiber and helps bind doughs. It thickens quickly, so enjoy drinks soon after mixing.
Psyllium is generally well tolerated, though some people notice mild bloating when they first start — beginning with a small amount helps. Always take it with plenty of fluid. Speak to your doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, have difficulty swallowing, or take medication.
